Cornerback Richard Sherman, who was elected the 49ers’ player representative Wednesday, predicted another lockout would occur when the collective bargaining agreement between players and owners expires after the 2020 season.
“It’s going to happen,” Sherman said.
Sherman, who is a vice president of the NFL Players Association’s executive committee, was asked why he was so certain.
“Because there was a lockout before,” Sherman said.
