49ers continue QB tour, check out Memphis’ Paxton Lynch

The 49ers’ offseason inspection of the top quarterbacks in the draft continued Wednesday at Paxton Lynch’s pro day in Memphis.

The team sent Dana Bible, whom new coach Chip Kelly hired as a senior analyst last month, and scout Darrell Moody to watch the tall, athletic quarterback work out.

Bible, 62, has been a quarterbacks coach in the NFL and an offensive coordinator at Stanford and with the Philadelphia Eagles. He most recently spent six seasons at North Carolina State, finishing there in 2012 as the school’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

Lynch captured the attention of NFL evaluators last season by leading Memphis to a 9-4 record, including a 37-24 win over Mississippi.
