49ers carry over $12 million in 2015 salary cap space

The NFL and NFLPA will likely announce the 2016 salary cap later next week, but in the meantime, the NFLPA announced carry-over from 2015. The San Francisco 49ers will carry over $12, 206,686 in 2015 space. They have the fifth most carry-over space. The Jacksonville Jaguars lead the way with $32,774,928. They are followed by the Tennessee Titans ($20,783,801), Cleveland Browns ($20,734,144), and Oakland Raiders ($13,373,617).

Teams are allowed to roll over their previous year's cap space, thus giving them more space in the new season. It is interesting to note that the Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Rams, and New Orleans Saints are not rolling over their entire cap space.
