The lead official for the game will be Brad Allen. He is in his third year in the league, all three of which were spent as a referee. His crew handled last week’s Chargers-Titans game. They called eight penalties for 57 yards against the road Titans, and 14 penalties for 107 yards against the home Chargers.
Allen’s crew has some interesting numbers this season. Four times they have called double digit penalties against the home team, but they have only done that once against a road team.
