George Kittle was given the Len Eshmont Award, voted by his fellow 49ers players. The award is named after an original Niner known for his “inspirational and courageous play”. Kittle certainly fits the bill, as his energy appeared to permeate throughout the team.
As for courage, how about his memorable catch-and-run to seal a victory in New Orleans, dragging Saints defenders along with him.
