SANTA CLARA — Nick Bosa’s outstanding rookie training camp came to a dramatic pause Wednesday, when the 49ers top draft pick sustained a lower-leg injury.
Defensive coordinator Robert Saleh does not believe is serious, stating: “I think he’s alright. I still haven’t heard from the performance staff but I don’t think there’s anything to worry about.”
The 49ers defense did have other injuries arise Wednesday. Arik Armstead was a late scratch with a calf issue, Ronald Blair did not practice because of a groin injury and cornerback Jason Verrett left early for unspecified reasons to at least temporarily stall his comeback from Achilles tear.
