SANTA CLARA -- Anthony Davis wore his No. 76 jersey Sunday for the first time since 2014 and practiced with a healthier mind and body, which he attributed to last season's self-imposed sabbatical.
Davis lined up as the third-string right tackle in the 49ers first practice of training camp and "felt like I was on a highway" in coach Chip Kelly's fast-break offense.Davis' comeback drew the widespread support of his teammates, including left tackle Joe Staley and general manager Trent Baalke, both of whom were targets of Davis' social-media criticism in recent months."We talked about everything man to man, got past it and now we're on the same page," Davis said.
