SANTA CLARA — In the spirit of an Advent calendar, here are the numbers to watch counting down to the 49ers’ season finale Sunday against the host Los Angeles Rams:
1,228: George Kittle‘s receiving yards, the 49ers’ most since Terrell Owens‘ 1,300-yard output in 2002 and a record for franchise tight ends.
1,327: NFL record for tight end receiving yards, set by New England’s Rob Gronkowski in 2011 and also threatened this year by Kansas City’s Travis Kelce (1,274).
