49ers' Bush files suit over St. Louis fall

San Francisco 49ers running back Reggie Bush on Wednesday filed a lawsuit in St. Louis over a knee injury that occurred when he slipped on concrete behind the team’s bench during a November game, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

Bush, who sustained a season-ending cartilage tear from the incident, filed his case against the St. Louis Regional Convention and Sports Complex Authority and the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission.

Bush, who turns 31 in March, is scheduled to be a free agent. The suit claims the owners and operators of the Edward Jones Dome were negligent by allowing “a dangerous condition to exist at the Dome” and dangerous to those on the turf and sidelines.
