ST. LOUIS – Reggie Bush, who received the start at running back with Carlos Hyde out of action, sustained a left knee injury in the first quarter when he slipped on the concrete behind the 49ers' bench after running out of bounds.
Bush fielded a punt late in the first quarter from the left side of the field. He attempted to run all the way across the field to find an opening. After running out of bounds, Bush tried to stop on the concrete beyond the artificial surface behind the 49ers’ bench.
