The 49ers will participate in joint practices with the Denver Broncos prior to their Aug. 29 exhibition game, the 49ers confirmed on Thursday.
The final details are still being worked out, but Denver’s 9News reported the clubs would practice against each other on the Wednesday and Thursday before the Saturday night game.
The 49ers last summer had practices against the Baltimore Ravens after the teams met in the first week of the exhibition season. The practices took place at the Ravens’ practice facility in Owings Mills, Maryland, and featured no issues with fighting or escalated emotions.
