BEATHARD’S FIRST START
The 49ers are poised to make a big splash at quarterback, either in free agency or in the draft. That is, unless C.J. Beathard dazzles in the second half of the season. He got off to a good start Sunday with 245 yards in 2 1/2 quarters.
