Anthony Davis took last season off from football after starting for the San Francisco 49ers at right tackle for the previous five seasons. After returning to the 49ers and the National Football League at the beginning of training camp, Anthony Davis has now been lining up at a position other than the right flank: right guard.
Davis has not played a snap at guard since his freshman year at Rutgers. Davis is incredibly confident in his abilities as an athlete and a football player, however, and believes he can transition well to right guard if need be.
