SANTA CLARA — Here is the updated injury fallout from the 49ers’ 27-24 overtime loss Monday night to Seattle:
Left tackle Joe Staley (fibula): A fractured and dislocated finger could prompt Staley to undergo surgery and miss a couple games, coach Kyle Shanahan revealed Tuesday in a media conference call. Playing for the first time since his left-fibula fracture in Week 2, Staley’s leg checked out OK as he played all 88 offensive snaps, albeit struggling at times, especially against Jadeveon Clowney.
Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (ribs): He is day-to-day and will be a game-time decision for Sunday’s home game against the Arizona Cardinals.
