49ers adding another Stanford product to tight end mix

SANTA CLARA — Levine Toilolo, a Stanford product with ties to Kyle Shanahan, is expected to join the 49ers tight end competition.

Toilolo will sign with the 49ers pending a physical, NFL Network reported Wednesday morning. He played with the Atlanta Falcons when Shanahan was their offensive coordinator from 2016-17, and he started in their 2016 season’s Super Bowl loss.
