The San Francisco 49ers today announced that running back Jerick McKinnon has been activated from the Active/Physically Unable to Perform List. This has been a long time coming. Nearly a year ago, McKinnon suffered an ACL injury before he could ever take the field during a regular season game.
McKinnon suffered a minor setback, and that kept him from joining the team during the start of training camp. A little over a week later, McKinnon has been activated. Now it’s time to see what the Jet can do. It’s no secret that he is facing an uphill battle to get touches.
