The San Francisco 49ers announced their final roster additions in preparation for tomorrow’s afternoon game against the Carolina Panthers. They have announced that long snapper Kyle Nelson has been activated and wide receiver Jordan Matthews has been released.
Nelson’s activation should come as no surprise. He returned from a 10-game suspension and once cleared to practice, the 49ers released their other long snapper Garrison Sanborn. Hopefully the chemistry issues and Robbie Gould’s misses clear up this weekend and we don’t have to worry about more missed field goals.
