The San Francisco 49ers announced on Saturday that they have activated guard/center Daniel Kilgore from the Injured Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform List to the 53-man roster. In order to make room on the roster, the team waived linebacker Shayne Skov.
Kilgore (6-3, 308) was originally drafted by the 49ers in the fifth round (163rd overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft. He has appeared in 40 regular season games (seven starts) during his five-year career. After starting the first seven games of the 2014 season, he was placed on the Injured Reserve List on Oct. 25, 2014.
