The San Francisco 49ers return to practice on Tuesday, and there is some good and some bad news from the injury report. The team announced Tuesday morning that they are activating offensive guard Jonathan Cooper, wide receiver Trent Taylor, and linebacker Dekoda Watson from the Active/Physically-Unable-to-Perform List. They are also activating safety Marcell Harris and linebacker Malcolm Smith from the Active/Non-Football Injury List. Rookie defensive tackle Kentavius Street remains on the NFI list, and will remain there through the season due to an ACL tear suffered in April.
