The 49ers made a pair of trades, boosting their WR depth chart in the process.
The San Francisco 49ers made a pair of trades on Saturday as part of their cut down to 53 players. The team traded safety L.J. McCray to the Seattle Seahawks for an undisclosed draft pick. They also traded an undisclosed draft pick to the Kansas City Chiefs for wide receiver Rod Streater. Odds are good neither pick is particularly high, and very well might net out.
The Chiefs signed Streater this offseason, after he spent four seasons with the Oakland Raiders. In four seasons in Oakland, he had 109 receptions for 1,564 yards and eight touchdowns.
