49ers 90-in-90: WR Victor Bolden

As an undrafted free agent in 2017, Victor Bolden showed an awful lot of promise his rookie year as the possible return man of the future. As the season wore on, it seemed to just fizzle off. He broke a kick off off for a touchdown in the preseason, got 71 return yards against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2, and then became Joe Return-man until his eventual send-off to injured reserve in December.

Still, for a rookie, Bolden was decent, and would have a nice future ahead of him. That is if the San Francisco 49ers didn’t draft another couple promising rookie return men, kickoffs weren’t going the way of the dodo, and Bolden could do anything else besides return kicks.
