I don’t need to remind you how wide open safety depth is behind Jaquiski Tartt, Adrian Colbert, and possibly Jimmie Ward. The San Francisco 49ers drafted Marcell Harris, but he is returning from an Achilles injury which means his status remains in question. Terrell Williams is an undrafted free agent, but he has some very nice college highlights that put him in the conversation for depth. This is the perfect situation for a player to come into. The 49ers need safety depth and Williams could provide it his rookie season.
