The San Francisco 49ers offensive line received an upgrade with Mike McGlinchey being drafted in the first round. That give him and Joe Staley the two tackle spots (well, one would hope). That leaves the guard positions and depth behind Staley and McGlinchey.
Listed as offensive lineman, McGloster played mostly at right tackle during his time a Syracuse. He finished as a fifth-year senior in 2017 and was brought in as an undrafted free agent with the team.
He has a long road ahead of him if he wants to get one of those backup tackle spots.
