2019 is going to be a critical season for San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.
And in more ways than one.
First, he’ll have to prove he’s 100 percent healthy following the 2018 Week 3 ACL tear he suffered, which all but ended any realistic shot the Niners had to contend last year. More importantly, though, Garoppolo needs to showcase why he was worth a then-record five-year, $137.5 million contract.
Especially being a player with just 10 pro starts under his belt.
