Rarely do undrafted free agents receive a fair level of hype their rookie seasons. But for the San Francisco 49ers‘ Ross Reynolds, he could wind up being a potential gem find after going undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Reynolds, who played his college ball alongside the Niners’ own George Kittle and C.J. Beathard at Iowa, won’t have a lot of first-year competition at guard, as San Francisco elected to do very little to address its offensive line during the offseason.
And while the 49ers have their likely starters already in place, there’s a good chance the 6-foot-4, 295-pound Reynolds winds up cracking the 53-man roster as a backup this season.
