It’s been a bit interesting seeing the San Francisco 49ers focus a lot of their efforts during the 2019 NFL Draft on the offensive side of the ball, especially considering the amount of depth on defense this class had and the number of holes and shortcomings the Niners had there.
After making some day-three trade moves, general manager John Lynch and Co. shifted attention away from some of the skill positions in Round 6 and elected to reinforce the trenches.
And, at No. 183 overall, Lynch and Co. selected former Vanderbilt offensive lineman Justin Skule.
