The San Francisco 49ers haven’t exactly “won” the NFL offseason in 2019. And once this year’s NFL Draft concludes, many experts will likely say the Niners could have done a lot more.
Sure, there’s a lot left to be done. But that’s what happens for teams coming off a 4-12 campaign the year before, and general manager John Lynch’s squad is no exception. Even with a plethora of cap space to attack NFL free agency and the No. 2 overall pick in the draft, Lynch still has a lot of work to do before his offseason actions can be considered complete.
