For the most part, San Francisco 49ers fans have to be feeling pretty good about the team’s situation heading into 2019. The Niners roster is stronger now than it was when the 2018 season concluded, following a disappointing 4-12 finish. And by optimistic perspectives, the team should be much better this year.
General manager John Lynch and his staff should get a lot of credit for their combined actions this offseason.
For starters, Lynch was instrumental in the trade that landed former Kansas City Chiefs EDGE Dee Ford, as well as striking early on Kwon Alexander before the NFL free agency market on linebackers got too out of hand, which it did.
