It is year three for general manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan in San Francisco and 49ers fans are restless for a winning season. On paper, the group they have put together looks like it could be, at the very least, a team which wins more games than it loses.
Some might say that a nine-win season is not a lofty goal, but it is something the team hasn’t been able to accomplish since Lynch and Shanahan took over in 2017. The road to a winning season, and hopefully a playoff, birth begins with selecting the best possible 53 players.
