If you haven’t heard by now, the San Francisco 49ers are off to their best start since 1990. Six straight wins, boasting the second best defense in the NFL and, oh yeah, their offense is one of the most consistent in the league.
However, they’ll face another legitimate test when the NFC South’s second hottest team rolls into Levi’s Stadium on Sunday, the 4-2 Carolina Panthers.
Carolina comes in with four straight wins, including stealing a dub from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when both squads went to visit London, England. Quarterback Kyle Allen, who replaced Cam Newton because of injury, is 4-0 with no interceptions.
