The San Francisco 49ers were fortunate enough to land arguably the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2019 NFL Draft, Ohio State edge rusher Nick Bosa, when he fell past the top-drafting Arizona Cardinals to the second overall pick on day one.
Bosa joins an already-deep defensive line, comprised of two Pro Bowlers, DeForest Buckner and Dee Ford, who already broke out in 2018 with a combined 25 sacks between the two.
This should help Bosa immensely, considering his collegiate prowess already comes with a reputation, while the presence of Buckner and Ford will make blocking assignments for opposing offensive lines particularly difficult and challenging.
