Run
Jerick McKinnon was slated to be the do-it-all feature back, but he was lost for the season when he tore his ACL in practice Saturday. Those duties now figure to be shared by Matt Breida and Alfred Morris, who provide a lightning-and-power vibe. It could be a relatively even split: At 190 pounds, Breida might not be able to withstand too many touches. Morris’ snaps could be limited by his pass-catching ability (just 57 receptions in six seasons). If right guard Joshua Garnett becomes a starter, the offensive line, which figures to be improved, will have five top-50 draft picks.
