The San Francisco 49ers continue to address the offensive side of the ball, now taking Iowa’s TE George Kittle with their 5th-round selection.
Kittle possesses great size and athleticism, coming in at 6-foot-4, 247 pounds, running a 4.52 second 40-yard dash. According to NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein, he’s more of an H-Back type tight end that’ll line up and block people.
He also has great hands and flashes the ability to routinely make plays in the passing game as well. According to PFF, he was the second-best blocking tight end in this draft. He’ll be an effective blocking tight end in the NFL.
