A day after moving down in the first round, the San Francisco 49ers decided to stand pat in round two of the 2015 NFL Draft. The team used the 46th overall pick to select Samford safety Jaquiski Tartt. The pick comes a bit out of left field, with no reported contact between team and player. I'm guessing we'll find out from Tartt during his conference call if he had contact with the 49ers.
From the scouting reports below, it sounds like Tartt has the size and big hitting ability, but struggles in coverage and general consistency.
