Potential 49ers roster cuts are yearly 49ers rumors and Dante Pettis seems to be the most common player involved in talks. Pettis has been underachieving in San Francisco his entire career but is this the year the Niners part ways with the WR? With additions like Brandon Aiyuk via the NFL Draft and Jalen Hurd and Trent Taylor returning from injury, it seems like Pettis’ time in San Francisco could be coming to an end.

C.J. Bethard is another cut candidate due to his position on the 49ers QB Depth Chart. Jimmy Garoppolo and Nick Mullens are clearly ahead of the former Iowa QB. Bethard has worse stats than his backup QB counterpart in Nick Mullens and is due almost $1MM in 2020.
