After the troubled linebacker's latest brush with the law, the San Francisco 49ers are reportedly set to part ways with Aldon Smith.

Smith was arrested on Friday morning for hit and run, DUI, and vandalism on Thursday night, according to the Santa Clara Police Department
The 25-year-old has already been arrested twice before for DUIs and went to rehab after his second arrest in September 2013, along with having to miss five games due to suspension. Smith also missed nine more games while serving a suspension for violations of the league's substance-abuse and personal-conduct policies after a well-publicized brush with airport officials at LAX.
As recently as earlier this week, 49ers GM Trent Baalke was talking about a potential contract extension for Smith following the 2015 season. That's obviously out the window now as Smith now faces unemployment and the prospects of another long suspension from the league.
