49ers rumors today focus on all of the injuries that have plagued the 49ers throughout the first 3 weeks of the NFL season. Head coach Kyle Shanahan also told the media in his press conference today that wide receiver Jalen Hurd and running back Tevin Coleman could return after the bye to face the Cleveland Browns in week 5 of the 2019 NFL season.
The 49ers already have been solid at cornerback with Akhello Witherspoon and Richard Sherman this season. However, Witherspoon suffered a foot sprain in the 49ers win over the Steelers on Sunday. Witherspoon was seen leaving the stadium in a boot, however a foot sprain is not as serious as originally thought. Witherspoon should be able to return in a month. Who will replace Witherspoon at corner? Should the 49ers pursue Jalen Ramsey through a trade? Thomas weighs in on today’s episode in the video ABOVE & BELOW:

Running back Tevin Coleman was injured in the week 1 win against the Bucs but could return after the bye week. Wide receiver Jalen Hurd has been out for over a month with a back injury but is expected to practice next week. Finally, Thomas talks about Richard Sherman’s quote about Jimmy Garoppolo enjoying getting hit. Most quarterbacks do not enjoy getting hit but it seems like it helps settle Jimmy G down.
