Julio Jones torched the 49ers secondary got torched all game long. Despite missing a couple of key pieces like Richard Sherman and K’Waun Williams, the 49ers secondary should be better than what we saw on Sunday. The Falcons came into the day with only four wins but the Niners did not look ready to play four quarters of good football. Richard Sherman should return next week against the Rams to provide some much needed help.

They still control their own destiny assuming they can win their remaining games against the Los Angeles Rams and the Seattle Seahawks, who also clinched a playoff spot on Sunday with their win over the Carolina Panthers. Terrell Suggs rumors have been running rampant since the Cardinals released the veteran LB on Friday. Are the 49ers be interested in signing Suggs? Recent reports suggest that the Niners are “mulling over” a waiver claim. And it makes some sense due to the injuries to Ronald Blair, Damontre Moore, and Dee Ford.
