The NFL Playoffs are in full swing, but the focus for the San Francisco 49ers remains squarely on the search for former head coach Jim Tomsula's replacement. Here's the latest and most interesting 49ers coaching rumor/news tidbits for Sunday, January 10th.
Hue Jackson Readying To Take Over?
The 49ers will meet with Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson on Sunday. According to NFL Media insider Ian Rapoport, it could very well lead to a hiring by the end of the day:

Jackson's last head coaching gig was with the Oakland Raiders back in 2011. He went 8-8 before he was ultimately fired after the season.
49ers Interview Dirk Koetter
The 49ers interviewed Tampa Bay Bucs offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter for their head-coaching vacancy on Saturday, per multiple media reports.
Considered by many to be a favorite to replace his old boss, Lovie Smith, in Tampa, Koetter has college head coaching experience (Boise State, Arizona State) and a widespread in-league reputation as an offensive game-planning mastermind.

Chip Kelly Not A Fit?
After the 49ers' messy divorce with Jim Harbaugh, speculation around the team indicates that the San Francisco front office may see some red flags with Chip Kelly -- a head coach who engaged in a noted power struggle with Eagles management before being fired after Week 16.
"A year after Harbaugh’s exit, it’s fair to wonder whether CEO Jed York and general manager Trent Baalke can co-exist with another strong personality after they failed to make it work with the only 49ers head coach to produce a winning record since 2002."
