The San Francisco 49ers currently have a full 90-man roster, but ESPN's John Clayton is reporting that they are one of the "four main teams looking at" ex-Philadelphia Eagles offensive guard Evan Mathis.
The Eagles released Mathis late last week after they couldn't reach an agreement on a contract extension. Mathis was looking for a pay raise, but Philadelphia decided to simply cut him after four months of negotiations.
The Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, and Kansas City Chiefs are also interested in Mathis.
