PROVO, Utah -- TJ Haws scored 24 points and BYU rallied past San Diego, 74-58 in a West Coast Conference battle Saturday night.
BYU now has won four straight after an upset loss at Pacific on Jan. 6.
The Cougars took a 35-26 lead at intermission, but San Diego opened the second half on a 17-8 run to tie the game at 43-43 on Isaiah Pineiro's 3-pointer with 12:44 left. Yoeli Childs knocked down a 3 to start an 8-0 surge to put BYU back in front to stay. Jahshire Hardnett's 3-point play with 3:26 left gave the Cougars a 67-54 advantage.
