After openly flirting with the glitz and glamour of Los Angeles, the underachieving San Diego Chargers have taken the first step toward endearing themselves to the fans that they so nearly walked out on.
The team’s owner, Dean Spanos, seemingly said all the right things to ease the hatred he’s been receiving from the organization’s downtrodden fan base. In a recent statement, the franchise’s embattled leader said that while he has a deal in place that could eventually result in the Bolts joining the Rams in L.A., he is still striving toward a deal that would build a new stadium in San Diego.
