Women’s basketball’s Adams ‘nervous’ in return from injuries

San Diego State women’s basketball’s Mallory Adams was coming off a freshman campaign where she averaged 12.2 points, led the team with 8.9 rebounds and started all 32 games en route to receiving Mountain West Conference All-Freshman team honors in 2018-19.

The 6-foot forward began her sophomore season averaging 12.8 points and six rebounds through the team’s first six games of the 2019-20 season.

On Nov. 26, 2019, she played 30 minutes and scored 10 points on 4-of-12 shooting in a 64-52 loss at UC Santa Barbara.

That would be her last game of the season because of knee and shoulder injuries that required surgery.
