Bad news: A 20-point blowout loss on the road to Long Beach State is not how the San Diego State women’s basketball wanted to start its season.
Good news: The Aztecs get a chance to rebound with two home games this week on Monday against UC Riverside and on Thursday against UC Davis.
The team had a majority of its success at home last season with an 8-6 record as opposed to a 2-11 record on the road in a year that it finished 12-19 overall.
SDSU’s offensive struggles from last year carried over in its first game against LBSU and it faces a UC Riverside team Monday that scored 86 points in an 86-68 win over Fresno State last Friday night.
