Continuing its strong November presence, the San Diego State volleyball team defeated San Jose State Saturday afternoon in three sets (25-21, 25-22, 25-23). The Aztecs have won four of their five matches so far this month and improved to 11-19 overall and 8-9 in the Mountain West.
Eight different players recorded at least two kills, with junior middle blocker Emma Fuzie and redshirt-freshman middle blocker Deja Harris leading the team with nine each. Sophomore defensive specialist Devyn Pritchard led all players with 15 digs and added two assists, as well as two service aces. Head coach Deitre Collins-Parker said the development of team chemistry throughout the season has been crucial to late-season success.
