Over the weekend, San Diego State men’s tennis (7-11, 3-3 Mountain West Conference) closed out their regular season by splitting their final two games, defeating Boise State (13-10, 2-4 MWC) 4-3 but falling to Nevada (13-5, 5-1 MWC) 2-4.
Versus Boise State
Early on, Boise State took an early lead by winning the doubles point. Senior Joe Tyler and junior Victor Castro fell 4-6 against senior Simon Arca Costas and sophomore Caden Moortgat.
Juniors Jan Lucca Marquart and Ryo Minakata, meanwhile, dealt sophomores Roni Rikkonen and Johannes Seeman a similar 6-4 defeat to secure the doubles point for Boise State.
