San Diego State men’s basketball kept its undefeated season alive with a 16-point comeback win over Pepperdine on Dec. 6 at Viejas Arena.
The Aztecs (4-0) were scoreless for the first 6:07 of the game, which ultimately resulted in a 34-20 halftime deficit. SDSU used defense to get itself back in the game, as the Waves (2-2) were outscored 45-26 in the second half.
Head coach Brian Dutcher said SDSU needed to show composure and resilience to pull off the 65-60 comeback win.
