Wil Myers extends hit streak as San Diego Padres defeat the Dodgers

All hands were on deck as the San Diego Padres offense exploded en route to a 5-2 win against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Friars ended up outhitting the division rival 14-4.

The entire team was involved in the party as every position player had at least one hit. Eric Lauer commanded the game with six strong innings, allowing only two earned runs and striking out six batters. He walked no one en route to his sixth win of the season.

The bullpen also did its job in a dominant way as it went three scoreless innings to close the game, enabling Kirby Yates to earn his 32nd save of the season.
