MILWAUKEE -- Padres infielder Jemile Weeks will be sidelined for at least two to three weeks after an MRI confirmed a right hamstring strain.
Weeks was placed on the 15-day disabled list on Sunday after injuring his hamstring running to first base on a bunt attempt during a 6-3 loss to the Mets on Saturday.
"We're going to re-evaluate at the end of [the two to three weeks] and see what kind of progress he's made," Padres manager Andy Green said before Thursday's series opener at Miller Park. "He's kind of in the club right now of infielders with hamstring strains.
