For better or worse, the San Diego Padres kicked off the camouflage jersey trend in 1996, and Tuesday they held an unveiling event on the USS Theodore Roosevelt aircraft carrier to showcase a new version that they'll be wearing in 2016.
If you're keeping score at home, this new design -- which, like the previous one, will be worn for Sunday home games -- is at least the fifth different camo design the Padres have worn since '96. And it throws a new wrinkle into the mix -- it's blue:
